Vital Voranau
Vital Voranaŭ ( be, Віта́ль Во́ранаў, pl, Wital Woranau; born 18 March 1983) is a Belarusians, Belarusian-Polish people, Polish playwright, Translation, translator, writer, academic, and poet. He is a co-founder of Belarusian Cultural and Scientific Centre in Poznań and the publishing house Bely Krumkacz. He was born in Minsk, Byelorussian SSR and now lives in Poland. He completed his doctorate at Masaryk University in Czech Republic and teaches Irish literature and history of Belarus in Southwestern College (Kansas), Southwestern College in the United States. He translated Samuel Beckett's play ''Waiting for Godot'' and Alan Milne's story ''Winnie the Pooh'' into Belarusian language, the Belarusian language. Winnie The Pooh
Winnie-the-Pooh, also called Pooh Bear and Pooh, is a fictional anthropomorphic teddy bear created by English author A. A. Milne and English illustrator E. H. Shepard. The first collection of stories about the character was the book '' Winnie-the-Pooh'' (1926), and this was followed by '' The House at Pooh Corner'' (1928). Milne also included a poem about the bear in the children's verse book '' When We Were Very Young'' (1924) and many more in '' Now We Are Six'' (1927). All four volumes were illustrated by E. H. Shepard. Belsat TV
Belsat ( be, Белсат; pl, Biełsat; stylised as B☰LSAT) is a Polish free-to-air satellite television channel aimed at Belarus. The channel is a subsidiary of TVP S.A. From the outset, it has been co-funded by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and international donors. Broadcasting platforms Satellite and cable networks: Belsat broadcasts from the Astra 4A satellite, which covers the European region of the former USSR. In Ukraine, it is available on most cable networks. In Poland, it is carried by approximately 20% of cable networks. Dawid Jung
Dawid Jung (born 1980) is a Polish opera singer, poet, writer, literary and theater critic, publisher, cultural researcher, historian, museum curator, director of the Museum of Polish Electronic Organs, and editor-in-chief of "Zeszyty Poetyckie". Between 2003 and 2005, he conducted classes on contemporary poetics for students at Collegium Europaeum Gnesnense (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań), where he was a legal guardian for the Literary-Philosophical Section named after Władysław Nehring. From 2000 to 2006, he studied solo singing at the Feliks Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz under the guidance of Prof. Bożena Porzyńska, continuing his studies at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk from 2006 to 2008. European Radio for Belarus (Eŭrapéjskaje Rádyjo dla Biełarúsi, ERB, Euroradio.fm) is an international radio station that provides independent news, information, and entertainment to the citizens of Belarus launched on February 26, 2006. ERB operates on FM, OIRT FM, Internet, and Satellite to reach the widest audience. Its staff includes around 20 people in the Warsaw office and ten journalists in the Minsk office. Budzma The Best Rock / Budzma The Best Rock/New is a two-disc compilation album by Belarusian rock bands. Both invited musicians and the winners of selection were put on the compilation. CDs were published by the public movement Budzma Belarusians! together with European Radio for Belarus in November 2009, and a few months later all of the FM-radio stations, regional and district Houses of Culture of Belarus received them. The compiler and mastering engineer is Slava Korań, the frontman of the ULIS band. The National Library of Belarus ( be, Нацыянальная бібліятэка Беларусі, Natsyyanal'naya bibliyateka Byelarusi, russian: Национальная библиотека Беларуси, Natsional'naya biblioteka Belarusi) is the biggest library in the Republic of Belarus. The library is located in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. It houses the largest collection of Belarusian printed materials and the third largest collection of books in Russian behind the Russian State Library ( Moscow) and the Russian National Library ( Saint Petersburg). Donald F. Tuzin (June 14, 1945 – April 15, 2007) was an American social anthropologist best known for his ethnographic work on the Ilahita Arapesh, a horticultural people living in northeast lowland New Guinea, and for comparative studies of gender and sexuality within Melanesia. Tuzin was born in Chicago, Illinois, grew up in Winona, Minnesota, and spent his teen years again in Chicago. He received his B.A. from Western Reserve University in Ohio (shortly before its merger with Case Institute of Technology), where he became interested in anthropology and participated in the excavation of Native American archaeological sites left by the Mound Builders.
