Vishweshwar Bhat is a journalist in Karnataka, India and a well known writer in Kannada language. He was the editor of '' Vijaya Karnataka'' and Kannada Prabha newspapers and the television channel Suvarna News. He started a media house in Karnataka by name Vishwakshara Media Pvt. Ltd. as Managing Director with well known Jewellery business man Sri KP Nanjundi as Chairman of the group. He is the Editor in Chief of the proposed Kannada daily Vishwavani which was relaunched on 15 January 2016 all over Karnataka, prior to which it was being published and circulated only in Hubballi, headed by renowned Kannada writer Patil Puttappa. Kumta
Kumta is a town and taluk in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, India. It is one of the important stations along the Konkan Railway line running between Mumbai and Mangalore. Rajyotsava Awards
The Rajyotsava Prashasti or Rajyotsava Awards, the second highest civilian honor of the Karnataka state of India are conferred annually by the Karnataka Government on the occasion of the establishment of the state on 1 November celebrated as the Kannada Rajyotsava. The awards are presented in Bengaluru by the Chief Minister of Karnataka on 1 November of every year. Each award carries an amount of 100,000, a 20-gram gold medal and a citation.
