Vinyl BC
Vinyl Basketball Club, also known as Vinyl BC, is an American professional basketball team. They are a member of the Unrivaled basketball league, and made their debut in 2025. The teams are based in Miami, Florida and Vinyl is led by coach Teresa Weatherspoon. History On October 24, 2024, the Unrivaled basketball league announced the names and logos of six teams joining its league, which are Laces BC, Lunar Owls BC, Mist BC, Rose BC, Phantom BC, and Vinyl BC. Vinyl BC, along with the other five teams, will be based in Miami, Florida for the inaugural 2025 season, before the teams travel more frequently during the 2026 season. The six head coaches were later hired on November 15. Roster On November 20, 2024, the six head coaches collaborated on balancing and choosing the rosters for the six teams. Unrivaled (basketball)
Unrivaled is a women's professional three-on-three basketball league in the United States. History The league was founded in 2023 by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, in part to allow WNBA players to play domestically and to bypass complications from the WNBA's prioritization rule for players who choose to play overseas in the WNBA offseason. Unrivaled's inaugural season began on January 17, 2025, in Medley, Florida near Miami, with plans for the 2026 season to have games played across the United States. The league announced Stewart as the first signed player on July 9, 2024. The league's first-ever 1-on-1 single-elimination tournament, which took place February 10 to 14, 2025, was won by Collier. The league's first-ever championship was won by Rose BC on March 17, 2025. Jordin Elizabeth Canada (born August 11, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was selected by the Seattle Storm with the 5th overall pick in the 2018 WNBA draft. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Canada played collegiately with the UCLA Bruins.
