Vincenzo Mazza
Vincenzo Mazza (c 1748–1790) was an Italian painter and scenic designer for theaters, mainly in his native Bologna. In 1788, he served as principe of Accademia Clementina. He served as architetto teatrale for the Teatro Pubblico of Bologna. Vicenzo Conti
Cesare and Vincenzo Conti, two brothers, were natives of Ancona, but went to Rome during the Pontificate of Gregory XIII, by whom they were employed. They were also both employed by his successors, Sixtus V, Clement VIII, and Paul V. Cesare was esteemed for his grotesque ornaments, and Vincenzo painted the figures. Cesare died at Macerata about 1615. Vincenzo went on to the court of Savoy, and died there in 1610. Gaetano Alemani (or Alamanni; 1728 - 14 December 1782) was an Italian painter, active mainly in Bologna in the architectural and ornamental painting (quadratura) for the decoration of churches and theatres, as well as a scenic designer. Vincenzo Martinelli
Vincenzo Martinelli (20 June 1737 – 20 April 1807) was an Italian painter mainly painting landscapes both on canvas and fresco, mainly in his native Bologna. Biography He was prolific in Bologna. He worked also as a scenic designer. Among his frescoes are the stanzas painted ''alla boschereccia'' (forest style) located in the apartment of the Legate, now home to the Collezioni Comunali d'Arte. He collaborated with Giuseppe Jarmorini in painting frescoes in the Courtyard of the Palace once belonging to Bolognetti on via San Felice and the landscapes in the ''Allegory of Commerce'' (1793) painted with the collaboration of Filippo Pedrini in the Palazzo Pallavacini on the same street.
