Vincent Van Den Berg
Vincent van den Berg (born 19 January 1989) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a forward. He played for Arsenal, Go Ahead Eagles, FC Zwolle and Excelsior Maassluis. Club career Born in Schiedam, Rotterdam, Van den Berg started off as a youth at Feyenoord's Academy. He went on to play for SC Heerenveen, prior to moving to Arsenal at the age of 17 during the summer of 2006. He played for both Arsenal's Academy and Reserve teams, but only in pre-season friendlies for the first team, most notably as a substitute in Dennis Bergkamp's testimonial match. On January 7, 2008 Arsenal officially confirmed he would go on loan to Go Ahead Eagles for the second half of the 2007-08 season. He made his debut for Eagles, starting in a friendly match against Samsunspor, during which he was injured and had to be substituted after 25 minutes of play. Schiedam
Schiedam () is a city and municipality in the west of the Netherlands. It is located in the Rotterdam–The Hague metropolitan area, west of Rotterdam, east of Vlaardingen, and south of Delft. In the south the city is connected with the village of Pernis by the Beneluxtunnel. The city is known for its historical center with canals, and for having the tallest windmills in the world. The 2012–13 season of the Hoofdklasse is competed in six leagues, three Saturday leagues and three Sunday leagues. The champions of each group promoted direct to the 2013–14 Topklasse. The 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship, the eleventh edition of the tournament, was held in the cities of Lima, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Piura and Iquitos in Peru between 16 September and 2 October 2005. Players born after 1 January 1988 could participate in this tournament. Mexico beat favorite Brazil by 3–0 in the final, making it the first U-17 Championship for Mexico. Tweede Divisie
Tweede Divisie ( en, Second Division) is the highest amateur (and historically the lowest professional) football league in the Netherlands. It was established in 1956, together with the Eredivisie and the Eerste Divisie. Between 1956 and 1960 and between 1962 and 1966, the league consisted of two divisions, Tweede Divisie A and Tweede Divisie B. The league was disbanded in 1971. Six clubs were promoted to the Eerste Divisie (De Volewijckers, FC Eindhoven, FC VVV, Fortuna Vlaardingen, PEC and Roda JC), while the other eleven teams became amateur clubs. Plans for a new, amateur Tweede Divisie, to be made up of 4 reserve teams and 14 Topklasse clubs, were approved in a KNVB assembly in December 2014.
