Vincent Favretto
Vincent Favretto (born 5 April 1984) is a French pole vaulter. As a junior, he won the silver medal at the 2001 World Youth Championships, the bronze medal at the 2002 World Junior Championships and the gold medal at the 2003 European Junior Championships. He finished fifth at the 2005 European U23 Championships. He also competed at the 2005 European Indoor Championships, and the 2006 European Championships without reaching the final. He then returned to win the 2009 Jeux de la Francophonie. 2003 European Athletics Junior Championships
The 2003 European Athletics Junior Championships was held in Tampere, Finland from 23 to 27 July 2003. A total of 44 events were contested; 22 by men and 22 by women. Germany had the biggest medal haul with nine golds and a total of 26, closely followed by Russia (also 9 golds but 24 medals in total). Great Britain was third with 17 medals, while Romania was fourth with ten medals. Bron () is a commune in the Metropolis of Lyon, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, eastern France. Geography Bron lies east-southeast of central Lyon. It is the sixth-largest suburb of the city of Lyon, and is adjacent to its east side. Climate History The earliest traces of life in Bron can be found in the cemetery and date from 71 BC. The town as it is today did not take shape until approximately 1812. In mid-August 1944, prisoners from Montluc prison were taken to Bron Airfield where 109 of them, including 72 Jews, were killed in the , which would become known as ''Le Charnier de Bron'' ("The Charnel house of Bron").
