Vilhelmina Kaušilaitė-Kutavičienė (née Kaušilaitė, 3 March 1936 – 23 March 1988) was a Lithuanian chess player. She was eight times winner of Lithuanian Chess Championship, Lithuanian Women's Chess Championship (1961, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977). Biography From the beginning of the 1950s to the end of the 1970s, Vilhelmina Kaušilaitė-Kutavičienė was one of the leading female chess players in Lithuania. Eight times she won the Lithuanian Chess Championship, Lithuanian Women's Chess Championship (1961, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977) and became vice-champion the eight times (1956, 1958, 1960, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1976, 1980). She represented the team of the Lithuanian SSR seven times in the Soviet Team Chess Championship (1958-1959, 1963-1967, 1972-1979). Utena County () is one of ten counties in Lithuania. It is the country's most sparsely populated county. Bronius Kutavičius
Bronius Kutavičius (13 September 1932 – 29 September 2021) was a Lithuanian composer and academic composition teacher. He wrote numerous oratorios and operas, often inspired by ancient Lithuanian polytheistic beliefs and music. He also composed film scores, orchestral works and chamber music. Kutavičius is regarded as a symbol of Lithuanian cultural identity, both in music and in politics. Among many awards, he received the Lithuanian State Prize in 1987. LRT televizija (abbreviated LRT TV), formerly known as LTV 1, is the flagship television channel of Lithuanian National Radio and Television. Molėtai District Municipality
The Molėtai District Municipality is one of 60 municipalities in Lithuania. Molėtai is known for its many lakes. There are about 220 lakes in the district and they cover about 7% of the total territory. Since it is only about 60 km north of Vilnius, many Vilnians own summer homes there. The area offers many recreational opportunities. It is easy to reach Molėtai because there is a highway connecting Vilnius and Utena which divides the district into two almost equal parts. Since there is little industry, the district is proud of its lack of pollution. The land is not very fertile, therefore the district's government is focused on developing tourism. The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius, Lithuania, is a state-supported College or university school of music, conservatory that trains students in music, theatre, and multimedia arts. History Composer Juozas Naujalis founded a music school in 1919 in Kaunas. This school was reorganised into the Kaunas Conservatory in 1933. In 1949 the ''Kaunas Conservatory'' and the ''Vilnius Conservatory'', founded in 1945, were merged into the ''Lithuanian State Conservatory''.
