Vilalba is a municipality in the province of Province of Lugo, Lugo, in the autonomous community of Galicia (Spain), Galicia, Spain. It belongs to the Comarcas of Galicia, comarca of Terra Chá. A Voz De Vilalba
''A Voz de Vilalba'' was a newspaper published in Vilalba, Spain between 1983 and 1986. During these years, twenty-seven numbers and some special numbers were published, and the average edition was five hundred copies. Some of their subscribers were prominent figures as the important intellectual Ramon Piñeiro, the historian Ramón Villares, the politician Manuel Fraga Iribarne, the player of the ''Deportivo da Coruña'' Vicente Celeiro or the Cardinal Antonio Maria Rouco Varela. Terra Chá
A Terra Chá is a comarca of Galicia, in the Province of Lugo. The overall population of this local region is 47,697 (2005). The regional capital and major population lies in Vilalba. A Terra Chá is in the northern interior of the province Lugo. Manuel Fraga Iribarne
Manuel Fraga Iribarne (; 23 November 1922 – 15 January 2012) was a Spanish professor and politician during the dictatorship of Francisco Franco, who was also one of the founders of the People's Alliance (AP). Fraga was Minister of Information and Tourism between 1962 and 1969, Ambassador to the United Kingdom between 1973 and 1975, Minister of the Interior in 1975, Second Deputy Prime Minister between 1975 and 1976, President of the People's Alliance/ People's Party (PP) between 1979 and 1990 and President of the Regional Government of Galicia between 1990 and 2005. He was also a Member of the Congress of Deputies and a Senator. Ramón Chao
Ramón Luís Chao Rego (21 July 1935 – 20 May 2018) was a Spanish journalist and writer. He won the Premio de Virtuosismo for Piano in 1955. The same year he moved to Paris, France to study music with Nadia Boulanger and Lazare Lévy. In 1960 he began his collaboration with the Radiodiffusion-Télévision Française, RTF's Iberian languages Service. He was head of this service ten years later. At the same time he was collaborating with the Spanish weekly ''Triunfo (Spain), Triunfo'', the monthly ''Le Monde Diplomatique'', and the daily newspapers ''Le Monde'' and ''La Voz de Galicia''. Parroquia (Spain)
A (, , ) is a population entity or parish found in the autonomous communities of Galicia and Asturias in northwestern Spain. They are entities with a territorial scope lower than municipality and have their own legal personality. They usually, but not always, coincide with the ecclesiastic divisions, as they originated on par with them.
