The Women's EHF Champions League is the competition for the top women's handball clubs in Europe, organised annually by the European Handball Federation (EHF). It is the most prestigious tournament for clubs, with the champions of Europe's top national leagues participating. Tournament structure Each year, the EHF publishes a ranking list of its member federations. The first 27 nations are allowed to participate in the tournament with their national champion. Mátyás Győri (born 2 February 1997) is a Hungarian handball player for Tatabánya KC and the Hungarian national team. Career Club He made his debut in the first team in Balatonfüredi KSE in 2013, scoring 11 goals in 9 matches that season. In the 2014–15 season, he made 15 hits in the league in 14 matches and scored 13 goals in the EHF Cup group stage. 2020–21 Women's EHF Champions League
The 2020–21 Women's EHF Champions League was the 28th edition of Europe's premier club handball tournament, running from 12 September 2020 to 30 May 2021. There was no defending champion, after the season before was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Vipers Kristiansand defeated Brest Bretagne Handball to win their first title. Because of this pandemic, each local health department allowed a different number of spectators. Format The competition began with a group stage featuring 16 teams divided in two groups. Matches were played in a double round-robin system with home-and-away fixtures. In Groups A and B, originally the top two teams would have qualified for the quarterfinals, with teams ranked third to sixth entering the playoffs. After a decision by the EHF, all teams advanced.
