Viktor Nagy (curler)
Viktor Nagy (born 24 July 1984) is a Hungarian water polo goalkeeper. He took up the sport at the age of 10 at the Szolnoki Dózsa in Budapest, and made his first appearance for the Hungarian national team in 2006. He won the world title in 2013 and competed at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Summer Olympics Personal life Nagy is the brother of racing driver Dániel Nagy and a great grandson of painter Tivadar Csontváry Kosztka. He is married to Blanka, and has a son Samuel and a daughter Olivia. He is right-handed. World Aquatics, formerly known as FINA (; ), is the international federation recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for administering international competitions in List of water sports, water sports. The FINA Men's Water Polo World Cup is an international water polo tournament, organized by FINA and featuring eight men's national teams. It was established in 1979, initially taking place on odd years. Since 2002 it is held every four years, in the even-year between Olympics. From 2023 on, the tournament will be replacing the FINA Water Polo World League. 2018 FINA Men's Water Polo World League
The 2018 FINA Water Polo World League, FINA Men's Water Polo World League is the 17th edition of the annual men's international water polo tournament. It will be played between November 2017 and June 2018 and opened to all men's water polo national teams. After participating in a preliminary round, eight teams qualify to play in a final tournament, called the Super Final from 18–23 June 2018. The top two teams also automatically qualify for the 2019 FINA World Aquatics Championships in 2019. In the world league, there are specific rules that do not allow matches to end in a draw. If teams are level at the end of the 4th quarter of any world league match, the match will be decided by a penalty shootout.
