''Vikruthi'' () is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film directed by Emcy Joseph and produced by A. D. Sreekumar, Ganesh Menon and Lakshmi Warrier. The film stars Suraj Venjarammoodu and Soubin Shahir in the lead roles. The film is based on true events that occurred on a Kochi Metro train, where a picture of a sleeping hearing/speech-impaired man was taken and shared online by a passenger assuming he was drunk. It upsets the man and his family after it goes viral. The film was released on 4 October 2019. The film was remade in Tamil as '' Payanigal Gavanikkavum''. Plot Eldho and his wife Elsy are both hearing and speech impaired. After spending two nights in the hospital where his daughter was admitted, Eldho travels back home on a Kochi Metro train but he falls asleep. Another passenger, Sameer, finds this amusing and decides to post a picture of Eldho online, labelling him a drunkard. Vincy Sony Aloshious (born 12 December 1995) is an Indian actress who works in Malayalam films. After appearing in the talent-hunt show '' Nayika Nayakan'' (2018), she made her cinematic debut in ''Vikruthi'' (2019). Meghanathan
Meghanathan (November 1964 – 21 November 2024) was an Indian actor who appeared in Malayalam and Tamil films. The son of actor Balan K. Nair, he debuted in 1983 in the Malayalam film '' Asthram''. He acted in more than 50 Malayalam films. Biography Meghanathan was born as the third child of Malayalam actor Balan K. Nair and Sarada Nair in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He had two brothers (Anil and Ajayakumar) and two sisters (Latha and Sujatha). He had his primary education from Asan Memorial Association, Chennai, and completed Diploma in Automobile engineering from Coimbatore. He made his debut through the Malayalam film '' Ashthram'' in 1983. Meghanathan was married to Susmitha. The couple had a daughter, Parvathi. They settled in Shoranur, Palakkad.
