Viji Manuel
Vijay Manuel (born 1951) (died 15 August 2015) was an Indian musician who worked mainly in Tamil cinema. He was the son of pianist Handel Manuel. Early and personal life Vijay "Viji" Manuel was the son of pianist Handel Manuel and soprano singer Alice, who died in 2018. Unlike his classical trained father, Viji was self-taught and formed a rock band "Plastic Glow" and used to play at a hotel at Mussorie where he used to play other instruments if anyone from the band did not show up. Career Viji Manuel started his career as bass guitarist for composer Shyam and then went to work for many established composers such as M. S. Viswanathan, K. V. Mahadevan and with Ilaiyaraaja as acoustic guitarist. He also recorded a Christmas album with his father. ''Thulluvadho Ilamai'' () is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language teen drama film written by Selvaraghavan, with direction credited to his father Kasthuri Raja. The film marks the acting debut of Selvaraghavan's younger brother Dhanush, who plays the lead role. It also stars newcomers Abhinay, Sherin, Ramesh, Shilpa and Gangeshwari, while prominent film personalities Vijayakumar, Ramesh Khanna, and Pyramid Natarajan play supporting roles. The film depicts the story of six high-school classmates: three boys and three girls, coming from different strata of society, who have each their own problems in their respective families and escape from their homes, deciding to live together on their own with the help of an older friend of theirs. ''Punnagai Mannan'' () is a 1986 Indian Tamil-language musical romantic drama film written and directed by K. Balachander. The film stars Kamal Haasan and Revathi in the lead roles, with Srividya, Rekha, Delhi Ganesh, Sudarshan and Sundar Krishna Urs in supporting roles. Its plot revolves around a dance instructor whose student falls in love with him. Haasan initially pitched to Balachander a sequel to '' Ek Duuje Ke Liye'' (1981), which was an official remake of their own Telugu-language musical romance film ''Maro Charitra'' (1978). The pitched project was not made but Balachander used elements of its plot to make ''Punnagai Mannan'', a separate project. The New Indian Express
''The New Indian Express'' is an Indian English-language broadsheet daily newspaper published by the Chennai-based Express Publications. It was founded in 1932 as ''The Indian Express'', under the ownership of Chennai-based P. Varadarajulu Naidu. Santwana Bhattacharya was appointed Editor-in-Chief on 1 July 2022, replacing G.S. Vasu. History ''Indian Express'' was first published on 5 September 1932, in Madras (now Chennai) by an ayurveda, Ayurvedic doctor and Indian National Congress member P Varadarajulu Naidu, publishing from the same Publisher, press where he ran the ''Tamil Nadu'' Tamil weekly. Yuvan Shankar Raja
Yuvan Shankar Raja (born 31 August 1979), is an Indian composer and playback singer. He mainly scores music for Tamil films along with few Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi films.
