Vijay Khurana
Vijay Khurana is an Australian writer and radio announcer, who has worked on radio stations 2SER and Triple J. Radio career Starting at 2SER in 2004, he first hosted the 3am-6am slot with his co-host Andre Leslie, which they called 'The Peruvian Lunch.' They went on to host weekday breakfast together, and Khurana subsequently hosted the Drive show. Moving to Triple J in 2005, he hosted shifts including the mid-dawn shift during the week and fill-in shifts. On 14 April 2007, Khurana started his role as weekend lunch presenter on Triple J (10am-2pm), replacing previous presenter Gaby Brown. On 6 December 2007, Vijay Khurana was announced as weekday lunch presenter on Triple J (12-3pm), replacing previous presenter Linda Marigliano, who in turn replaced Robbie Buck on the weekday Drive show (3pm-5.30pm) alongside Scott Dooley (Dools). 2SER is a not-for-profit radio station in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, broadcasting on the frequency 107.3 FM. It is operated by Sydney Educational Broadcasting Ltd, and co-funded by two Universities, University of Technology Sydney and Macquarie University. It is a member of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia. The station has a metro-wide license and broadcasts a mix of programming styles - specialist music, general magazines, specialist talks and podcasts. Programming 2SER broadcasts a wide range of music and talk shows. Talk show topics include science, current affairs, health, conservation, publishing, gender and queer culture, music, arts and theatre. Georg Theodor Franz Artur Heym (30 October 1887 – 16 January 1912) was a German writer. He is particularly known for his poetry, representative of early Expressionism. Biography Heym was born in Hirschberg, Lower Silesia, in 1887 to Hermann and Jenny Heym. Throughout his short life, he was in conflict with social conventions. His parents, members of the Wilhelmine middle class, had trouble comprehending their son's rebellious behavior. Heym's own attitude towards his parents was paradoxical; on the one hand he held a deep affection for them, but on the other he strongly resisted any attempts to suppress his individuality and autonomy. In 1900, the Heyms moved to Berlin, and there Georg began unsuccessfully attending a series of different schools.
