Vihren Sandanski
OFC Vihren () is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Sandanski, currently playing in the Second League. Sandanski's home ground is the Sandanski Stadium in Sandanski with a capacity of 6,000. Vihren Sandanski's team colours are green and white. Vihren was founded in 1925, changing its name several times during its early existence. Up until the early 2000s, Vihren played mostly in either the second or third tiers of Bulgarian football. Season 2004-05 is arguably the most important in the club's history, as the team managed to promote to the A PFG, or first tier of Bulgarian football, for the first time. Vihren managed to play four consecutive seasons in the elite, before suffering relegation after the 2008-09 season. Since then, the Gladiators have played mostly in the third regional tier. Vihren ( ) is the highest peak of Bulgaria's Pirin, Pirin Mountains. Reaching , it is Bulgaria's second and the Balkans' third highest, after Musala and Mount Olympus. Although Vihren is deprived of lakes and streams due to the karst topography, a number of Pirin's lakes are located around the peak, as is Europe's southernmost glacial mass, the Snezhnika glacieret. Until 1942 Vihren was known as ''Eltepe'' (peak of storms); it was also called ''Buren'' (stormy) and ''Malnienosets'' (lightning-bringer). The Bulgarian Regional Amateur Football Groups () are the 4th and 5th level of the Bulgarian football league system. There are 41 groups called A Regional Football Groups and 19 B Regional Football Groups. Teams from B RFG are promoted to A RFG and A RFG teams are promoted to Third League. Competition format A RFG (or A OFG) has 28 regional geographically specified divisions, as some of the regions have more than one group. 28 teams are promoted to Third League at the end of every season. there are 9 B RFG (or B OFG) divisions registered for season 2015–16. The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League (), also known as Second League () or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League. Twenty teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The league is administered by the Bulgarian Professional Football League. In 2016, the B Group's name was rebranded to Second Professional Football League. Dimitrios Zografakis (; born 3 August 1978) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Zografakis started his career at amateur football club FC Orfeas Eleftheroupolis. at the age of 20, Dimitrios signed with Skoda Xanthi and played for the team for seven years. In 2005 Zografakis spent ten months at PAOK. While playing for the club from Thessaloniki he made one appearance during the group stage of the UEFA Cup against Shakhtar Donetsk. Christos Maladenis
Christos Maladenis (; born 23 May 1974) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and a manager. Career Maladenis began his career in Skoda Xanthi, attracting the interest of Panathinaikos and AEK Athens. In the summer of 1995, he signed for AEK. Despite the injuries he had, he slowly made his presence felt, competing in many positions in the lineup, mainly in the midfield and offense. His best season was the period 1998–1999, where he scored 13 goals. He also played an incredible match against Iraklis in Kaftanzoglio Stadium, completing a hat-trick in AEK's victory with 2-3 which secured them in second place and sent them in next season's UEFA Champions League qualifiers. 2008–09 A Group
The 2008–09 A Group was the 85th season of the Bulgarian national top football division, and the 61st of A Group as the top tier football league in the country. It began on 9 August 2008 and ended on 13 June 2009. CSKA Sofia were the defending champions, but they were unable to retain it and Levski Sofia won the title, which was their 26th overall. Promotion and relegation Three teams were promoted from the 2007–08 B Group. These include the champions of the East and West B Groups, as well as the promotion playoff winner, decided through a one match between the runners-up of the two B Groups. The promoted teams were Lokomotiv Mezdra, Sliven, and Minyor Pernik.
