Vidy is an area of the city of Lausanne (Switzerland), on the shores of Lake Geneva (). Since 1968, the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee have been at Vidy. The Olympic Museum and the Olympic Park (sculpture garden) are at Ouchy, to the east of Vidy. Ouchy is a port and a popular lakeside resort south of the centre of Lausanne in Switzerland, at the edge of Lake Geneva (). Facilities Very popular with tourists for the views of nearby France (Évian-les-Bains, Thonon), Ouchy is also a favorite area for rollerskating (Lausanne, and Ouchy in particular, is considered a capital for this sport) and for skateboarding. Stade Pierre de Coubertin is an outdoor stadium in the city of Lausanne (Switzerland). It normally seats 6,000 spectators and can be expanded to seat twice that number of spectators when needed.
