Videoland Television Network () is a cable television network program provider in Taiwan, founded in 1983 by Koos Group. Videoland is one of Taiwan's major satellite television providers, offering seven channels of programming. Videoland is also sales agent for the Pili Channel and the Discovery Channel. Videoland's operations include an Engineering Division, a Programming Division and an Advertising Division as well as an Advertising Sales Division which is responsible for advertising sales for each of the television channels. In addition, Ho-wei Communications handles sales to system operators throughout Taiwan. Together these various units make up a complete package of television programming. ''Pili'' (Traditional Chinese: 霹靂, Pe̍h-oē-jī: Phek-le̍k, "Thunderbolt") is a glove puppetry show from Taiwan. It is made by Pili International Multimedia. The TV series debuted in 1984 and once reached over 90% viewership. Unlike traditional puppet shows, ''Pili'' uses computer generated imagery (CGI) during action sequences. The delicate design of the appearance and characteristics of each puppet has made ''Pili'' a well-known TV series in Taiwan. In 2000, the spin-off film '' Legend of the Sacred Stone'' was released. It was released on VHS and DVD in Taiwan and Japan (the Japanese edit significantly shortened).
