"Vida" ( en, "Life") is a song recorded by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin for the '' One Love, One Rhythm – The 2014 FIFA World Cup Official Album'' (2014). It was written by Martin, Salaam Remi, Elijah King, Afo Verde, Roxana Amed and produced by Remi. Lake Vida is a hypersaline lake in Victoria Valley, the northernmost of the large McMurdo Dry Valleys, on the continent of Antarctica. It is isolated under year-round ice cover, and is considerably more saline than seawater. Vida is an unincorporated rural village in northern McCone County, Montana, United States, located on Montana Highway 13 along the Big Sky Back Country Byway, approximately south of Wolf Point, and north of Circle. History At this location, Vida was known as Presserville until 1951, when the post office at a previous incarnation of Vida was moved to that town and Presserville's citizens agreed to change the town name to conform with the name under which the post office was registered. Over the intervening decades, the population has dwindled significantly. At the 2000 census, the Vida area had a population of approximately 70 people. Vida is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It is located on Oregon Route 126 and the McKenzie River. Vida was originally named "Gate Creek", but this caused confusion with a community of "Gates Creek" in Washington County, so the name of the postmaster's daughter was selected instead. The Vida post office was established on April 12, 1898. The postmaster was Francis A. Pepiot. Vida is home to the historic Goodpasture Bridge, a covered bridge that was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is the second-longest covered bridge in Oregon. Summary The eponymous heroine is a 1960s anti-war and pro-environmental activist who has in the modern day (1980s—when the novel was written and is partially-set) become part of an illegal underground revolutionary network which resembles the real Weatherman (later known as the Weather Underground). The story is told in the then present-day and in flashbacks to the 1960s. Vida is an unincorporated community in Phelps County, Missouri, United States. Vida is approximately six miles south of Rolla, near the junction of US Highway 63 and Missouri Route W. Vida is located at an elevation of 1033 feet above sea level. Vida can be found on Phelps County plat maps in Section 10, Township 36 N, Range 9 W. A post office called Vida was established in 1898, and remained in operation until 1977. An early postmaster gave the community the name of a local girl in the neighborhood. Vida has not been included in past U.S. Census counts, so there is no population information for this community.
