Victorian Fury
Victorian Fury are an Australian netball team that represents Netball Victoria in the Australian Netball Championships. In 2008 they were both founding members and the inaugural champions of the league. They retained the title in 2009 and completed a three in row in 2010. They then won it four times in a row between 2013 and 2016. In 2019 they won their eighth ANL title. They are the most successful team in the ANL. Fury are effectively the representative team of the Victorian Netball League and the reserve team of Melbourne Vixens. Netball New South Wales Waratahs is an Australian netball team that represents Netball New South Wales in the Australian Netball Championships. In 2008 they were founder members of the ANL/ANC. They were ANL/ANC champions in 2011 and 2024 and have been grand finalists on a further five occasions, making them the second most successful team in the ANL/ANC after Victorian Fury. It is located in South Brisbane and occupies most of the block formed by Grey Street, Melbourne Street, Merivale Street, and Glenelg Street. Australian Institute of Sport are a former Australian netball team based in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. They were the netball team of the Australian Institute of Sport. They effectively acted as a development/under-21 team for the Australia national netball team. Between 1985 and 1996, AIS played in the Esso/Mobil Superleague. In 1985 and 1986 they finished as champions. Between 2003 and 2007, the AIS and Netball ACT entered a combined team known as AIS Canberra Darters in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy. Shannon Eagland (born 16 May 1990) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for the Sunshine Coast Lightning. In her early career, Eagland was selected in the Australia U/21 Team and Participated in the 2009 Australian World Youth Cup championships as part or the winning Australian team. She began her ANZ Championship netball career in the ANZ Championship in 2011 for the Melbourne Vixens as a temporary replacement player. Lara Dunkley (born 31 May 1995) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for the Queensland Firebirds. Dunkley began her elite netball career with the Melbourne Vixens in the mid 2010s, playing for the club's reserves team the Victorian Fury in the Australian Netball League (ANL), where she captained the team in the 2018 season. She was elevated to the Vixens' senior list for the 2019 Suncorp Super Netball season, replacing the long-term injured Tayla Honey. Fiona Themann (born 18 April 1990), also known as Fiona Fowler, is a Scotland netball international. She represented Scotland at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games and at the 2015 Netball World Cup.
