Victoria Villarruel
Victoria Eugenia Villarruel (born 13 April 1975) is an Argentine politician, lawyer, and activist who is the vice president-elect of Argentina. She is the founder and president of a civil association called the Center for Legal Studies on Terrorism. A member of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies since 2021, Villarruel was the running mate of Javier Milei for the position of vice president in the 2023 Argentine general election under the Libertad Avanza political coalition. Early life and education Villarruel was born on 13 April 1975. Her grandfather was a historian who was employed by the Argentine Navy; according to her, he survived four guerrilla bombings. Oslo Freedom Forum (OFF) is a series of global conferences run by the New York-based non-profit Human Rights Foundation under the slogan "Challenging Power". OFF was founded in 2009 as a one-time event and has taken place annually ever since.
