Victoria Mallory
Victoria Mallory (September 20, 1948 – August 30, 2014) was an American singer and actress, best known for originating the role of Anne Egerman in the Broadway musical '' A Little Night Music''. She was also an accomplished martial artist and model. Early life and education Her parents were Ruby Mallory and Mario Morales. Her father was from the Philippines, and her mother was from Virginia. Mallory was a native of Richmond, Virginia. While she was still a child, the family moved to Columbus, Georgia, where Mallory graduated from Baker High School in 1966. She sometimes was credited as Vicki Morales, a variant of her birth name, Victoria Morales. She said she did twenty musicals during high school (including at some local theaters), in addition to playing piano and dancing. Mark Lambert (American Actor)
Mark Lambert (born January 19, 1952) is an American actor and singer. Early life He was born Mark Robert Luebke and grew up in San Jose, California, where he graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1970. He was discovered by a Hollywood manager while appearing at the San Jose Community Theatre. Career After moving to Los Angeles, Lambert made a single episode appearance of ''Room 222.'' He went on to guest star in a variety of television shows, including ''The Mod Squad,'' ''The Partridge Family,'' and '' Ironside''. He made his Broadway-theatre début in New York City originating the role of Henrik Egerman in the musical-theatre production of ''A Little Night Music'' (1973–74) with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler. Pancreatic cancer arises when cell (biology), cells in the pancreas, a glandular organ behind the stomach, begin to multiply out of control and form a Neoplasm, mass. These cancerous cells have the malignant, ability to invade other parts of the body. A number of types of pancreatic cancer are known. The most common, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, accounts for about 90% of cases, and the term "pancreatic cancer" is sometimes used to refer only to that type. These adenocarcinomas start within the part of the pancreas that makes digestive enzymes. Several other types of cancer, which collectively represent the majority of the non-adenocarcinomas, can also arise from these cells. The Fantasticks
''The Fantasticks'' is a 1960 musical with music by Harvey Schmidt and book and lyrics by Tom Jones. It tells an allegorical story, loosely based on the 1894 play ''The Romancers'' (''Les Romanesques'') by Edmond Rostand, concerning two neighboring fathers who trick their children, Luisa and Matt, into falling in love by pretending to feud. The show's original off-Broadway production ran a total of 42 years (until 2002) and 17,162 performances, making it the world's longest-running musical. The musical was produced by Lore Noto. It was awarded Tony Honors for Excellence in Theatre in 1991. The poetic book and breezy, inventive score, including such memorable songs as " Try to Remember", helped make the show durable. Glynis Johns
Glynis Margaret Payne Johns (5 October 1923 – 4 January 2024) was a British actress. In a career exceeding seven decades on stage and screen, Johns appeared in more than 60 films and 30 plays. Marshall Ho'o
Dr. Marshall Ho'o (May 6, 1910October 2, 1993) was an American practitioner of tai chi and traditional Chinese medicine, known for his pioneering efforts to introduce and promote those healing arts, for which he received numerous awards in recognition of his community service. As part of that career he also had small roles in several major films, led tai chi instruction on his own television show, and authored a book on tai chi. Early life Marshall Ho’o was born to Wing Locke “Charles” Hoo and Yit Lin “Rose” Ju in Oakland, California, on May 6, 1910. His parents’ wedding in March 1909 made headlines in the Oakland Tribune for their adoption of a Christian wedding instead of a traditional Chinese ceremony.
