Victoria Grant (actress)
Victoria Grant (''née'' Blackledge; b. 26 August 1982) is a New Zealand rugby union coach and former player. She played for internationally and for Auckland at provincial level. She was recently appointed as Head Coach of Hurricanes Poua. Biography Grant has a bachelor's degree in Health Science majoring in Physiotherapy and a post-graduate diploma in Sports Medicine. She was named Women's player of the year. Grant was a member of the Black Ferns champion 2006 Rugby World Cup squad. She made her test debut at the tournament on 4 September 2006 against Samoa at Edmonton. She was also part of the 2010 Rugby World Cup winning squad. 2023 Super Rugby Aupiki Season
The 2023 Super Rugby Aupiki season was the second season of Super Rugby Aupiki (known as Sky Super Rugby Aupiki for sponsorship reasons), a professional women's rugby union club competition organised by New Zealand Rugby. The competition ran from 25 February 2023when Hurricanes Poua and Chiefs Manawa played the opening match in Levinto 25 March 2023. The tournament was won by Matatū, who defeated Chiefs Manawa 33–31 in the final in Hamilton, earning them their first Super Rugby Aupiki title. That match also resulted in the Chiefs Manawa's first-ever loss in the two-year-old competition. Competition format The competition featured four teams, who each played three regular season matches and two play-off matches. A total of ten matches were played over five weeks. The Samoa women's national rugby union team is a national sporting side of Samoa, representing the nation at rugby union. The side first played in 2000. History Samoa has attended three World Cups, namely the 2002, 2006 and 2014 Rugby World Cups. Samoa won the 2019 Asia Pacific Championship in Fiji. New Zealand Women's National Rugby Union Team
The New Zealand women's rugby union team, called the Black Ferns, represents New Zealand in women's international rugby union, which is regarded as the country's national sport.
