Victoria Collado is a Cuban–American director. She assistant directed John Leguizamo's ''Latin History for Morons'' on Broadway, and has directed for Repertorio Español, MCC Youth Company, Sheen Center, Juggerknot Theatre Company, and Miami New Drama among other institutions. Collado was named a 2018-2020 resident of the WP Lab at WP Theater. The Colony Theatre is a performing arts venue located on Lincoln Road in Miami, Florida. The theatre first opened as a Paramount Pictures movie house in 1935 with a capacity to sit 1,200 people. Vanessa Garcia is a Cuban–American writer and multidisciplinary artist. Biography She earned a PhD in English from the University of California, Irvine, an MFA in Fiction from the University of Miami, and a B.A. in English and Art History from Barnard College. Garcia's paintings and installations have been exhibited throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Havana Club is a brand of rum created in Cuba in 1934. Originally produced in Cárdenas, Cuba, by family-owned José Arechabala S.A., the brand was nationalized after the Cuban Revolution of 1959. In 1993, French-owned Pernod Ricard and the government of Cuba created a state-run 50:50 joint venture called Corporación Cuba Ron. They began exporting this version of Havana Club globally, except for the United States due to the embargo put in place by the U.S. government.
