Victor Terrazas
Víctor José Terrazas Martínez (born February 11, 1983) is a Mexican professional boxer and a former WBC super bantamweight champion. Professional career Terrazas turned professional in 2003 and would lose his first fight to Adrian Tellez by second round stoppage. He worked his way up to a world title eliminator in 2010 against British boxer Rendall Munroe. In the fight he would lose his first fight in seven years by ninth round stoppage. On November 19, 2011 Terrazas upset former world champion Fernando Montiel, to win the WBC Silver Super bantamweight Championship. In April 2013, Terrazas defeated Christian Mijares in a close split-decision to win the vacant WBC super bantamweight title vacated by Abner Mares. Terrazas won despite being knocked down in the 12th round. In August 2013 Terrazas would lose the title in his first defence against Leo Santa Cruz via third-round technical knockout in Los Angeles. Super bantamweight, also known as junior featherweight, is a weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . There were attempts by boxing promoters in the 1920s to establish this weight class, but few sanctioning organizations or state athletic commissions would recognize it. Jack Wolf won recognition as champion when he beat Joe Lynch at Madison Square Garden on September 21, 1922, but afterwards the weight division fell into disuse. The division was revived in the 1970s and the first title fight in 54 years in the division took place in 1976 when the World Boxing Council recognized Rigoberto Riasco as its champion when he defeated Waruinge Nakayama in eight rounds. Arena Coliseo is an indoor arena in Mexico City, Mexico located at República del Perú 77 in the Cuauhtémoc borough. The Lobodome (officially Lobodome de la UAD a Mazatlan) is a 8,000-seat indoor arena located in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. It is used primarily for basketball, and is home to the Lobos de Universidad Autónoma de Durango-Mazatlán basketball team. It is also used for concerts, boxing and lucha libre. Nehomar Andrés Cermeño Febres (born June 7, 1979) is a Venezuelan professional boxer who held the WBA (Regular) super bantamweight title from 2016 to 2017.
