Maria Victòria Peña Carulla (born 11 January 1954) better known as Vicky Peña is a Spanish actress. She is one of the most important voice actors in Catalan and Spanish. Family and early life She is the daughter of the actors Felip Peña and Montserrat Carulla, and the mother of Miranda Gus. She started working in the 1966 TV series ''La pequeña comedia''. Since then, she has been nominated and rewarded with several prizes. In 2005, she was elected as Vice President of the Professional Actors and Directors Association of Catalonia. ''Follies'' is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Goldman. The plot takes place in a crumbling Broadway theater, now scheduled for demolition, previously home to a musical revue (based on the ''Ziegfeld Follies''). The evening follows a reunion of the Weismann Girls who performed during the interwar period. Several of the former showgirls perform their old numbers, often accompanied by the ghosts of their younger selves. The score offers a pastiche of 1920s and 1930s musical styles, evoking a nostalgic tone. Burt Shevelove (September 19, 1915 – April 8, 1982) was an American musical theater playwright, lyricist, librettist, and director. Biography Born in Newark, New Jersey, he graduated from Brown University and Yale (Master's degree). At Brown in 1935, he acted in the first ever Brownbrokers musical titled ''Something Bruin''. After serving as a volunteer ambulance driver in World War II, he began working as a writer, director and producer for radio and television. At the time of his death he had lived in London for many years. His Broadway career started in 1948 with writing material, co-producing and directing for the revue ''Small Wonder.'' Among his successes were ''A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum'' and '' No, No, Nanette'', for which he won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Book of a Musical.
