Vibeke Falk
Vibeke Falk (née Mowinckel; 27 September 1918 – 9 October 2011) was a Norwegian actress. Biography She was a daughter of the wholesaler Thorolf Beyer Mowinckel and Jenny Modesta Fasmer. From 1937 to 1950, she was married to the actor Lauritz Falk (1909–1990). Falk made her stage debut at the Søilen Theater in 1938 and her film debut in '' Gjest Baardsen'' in 1939. From 1939 to 1942, she worked at the National Theater in Oslo, and then at the Trøndelag Theater in Trondheim from 1952 to 1953 and again from 1958 to 1960. From 1960 to 1968 she was at the National Theater in Bergen, and after that she worked freelance. She was featured in the role of Anna Reinche in the Norwegian film classic ''Gjest Baardsen'' from 1939 directed by Tancred Ibsen. Søilen Teater
Søilen Teater was a theatre that opened in Oslo in 1930. It was managed by Sophus Dahl until 1932. It was then a supporting stage for Chat Noir until 1934. From 1934 to 1939 the theatre was run by Henry Gleditsch, and from 1939 it was run by Aud Egede-Nissen , Aud Ricther. From 1942 it housed Leif Juster's stage Edderkoppen Theatre, and in 1945 it housed Studioteatret. Ernest Rude
Ernest Rude (23 January 1871 – 18 March 1948) was a Norwegian photographer. He was born in Drammen as a son of photographer Christoffer Gade Rude (1839–1901) and his wife Andrea Elise Geelmuyden (1839–1920). He was an uncle of Finn Støren. He started his career in his father's company, and from 1907 to 1910 he ran a company together with Frederik Hilfling-Rasmussen. He continued to run this company until his death in March 1948 in Oslo, from 1943 with Andreas Thorsrud who took it over. As a photographer Rude was best known for portrait photography. He chaired the Norwegian Association of Professional Photographers from 1912 to 1927 and became an honorary member in 1946. Tancred Ibsen
Tancred Ibsen (11 July 1893 – 4 December 1978) was a Norwegian military officer, aviator, film director and screenwriter. Background Ibsen was the son of Sigurd Ibsen and Bergljot Bjørnson. He was the grandson of both Henrik Ibsen and Nobel laureate Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. He married dancer and actress Lillebil Ibsen in 1919, and remained married to her until his death in 1978. His son Tancred Ibsen Jr. (1921–2015) was a Norwegian diplomat. Aviation career In 1917, Tancred Ibsen started pilot training at Kjeller Airport and began his career in the Norwegian Army Air Service. He started the first civilian active airplane company, '' A/S Aero'' in 1920, financed by his uncle, businessman Einar Bjørnson, and two shipowners. ''Singoalla'' is a 1949 Swedish–French film directed by Christian-Jaque, starring Viveca Lindfors and Alf Kjellin. It is based on the romantic novel ''Singoalla'' by Viktor Rydberg, which in turn is based on a medieval legend of the love between a Romani woman and a nobleman. It was produced in three language versions: Swedish, French, and English. The Swedish and French versions were entitled ''Singoalla''. The English version had three titles: ''Gypsy Fury'' (USA), ''The Wind is My Lover'' (UK), and ''The Mask and the Sword'' (UK). Den Nationale Scene () is the largest theatre in Bergen, Norway. Den Nationale Scene is also one of the oldest permanent theatres in Norway. History Opened under the name '' Det Norske Theater'' in 1850, the theatre has roots dating back to its founding on the initiative of the Norwegian violinist Ole Bull.
