Vertigo Deluxe
Vertigo Deluxe is a Los Angeles-based music production team consisting of Matthew Ferry and Roger Wade. They began in 1996 releasing a variety of Trance music and Electronica singles with modest success. In August 2002 they released a self-titled debut CD on their own Tranquility Recordings label. The new sound contained many elements of the Chill out music and Downtempo genres. Chill Out Music
Chill-out (shortened as chill; also typeset as chillout or chill out) is a loosely defined form of popular music characterized by slow tempos and relaxed moods. The definition of "chill-out music" has evolved throughout the decades, and generally refers to anything that might be identified as a modern type of easy listening. The term "chill-out music" – originally conflated with "ambient house" – came from an area called "The White Room" at the Heaven (nightclub), Heaven nightclub in London in 1989. Downtempo
Downtempo (or downbeat) is a broad label for electronic music that features an atmospheric sound and slower beats than would typically be found in dance music. Closely related to ambient music but with greater emphasis on rhythm, the style may be played in relaxation clubs or as "warm-up or cool-down" music during a DJ set. Examples of downtempo subgenres include trip hop, ambient house, chillwave, psybient and lo-fi hip hop, lofi hip hop. Markus Schulz ( , ; born 3 February 1969) is a German DJ and record producer based in Miami, Florida. Best known for his weekly radio show titled ''Global DJ Broadcast'' that airs on Digitally Imported radio, ah.fm and other online stations, Schulz is also the founder of the Record label, label Coldharbour Recordings and Schulz Music Group (SMG), an artist management company that manages rising stars in the industry.
