Vermont Lady Voltage
Vermont Lady Voltage was a professional American women’s soccer team, founded in 2005, which is a member of the United Soccer Leagues W-League. Voltage played in the Northern Division of the Central Conference. They play their home games at the Collins-Perley Sports Complex in the city of St. Albans, Vermont, 27 miles north of the state's largest city, Burlington. The team's colors are black and white, and gold and blue. The team was a sister organization of the men's Vermont Voltage team, which plays in the USL Premier Development League. Kristin Luckenbill
Kristin Stewart Luckenbill (born May 28, 1979) is an American professional soccer goalkeeper and Olympic gold medalist. She previously played for the Boston Breakers and Sky Blue FC of Women's Professional Soccer as well as the Carolina Courage of the WUSA. She is a former member of the United States women's national soccer team. Early life Born in Paoli, Pennsylvania and attended Conestoga High School and Stratton Mountain School in Vermont. During her final year of high school she was named All-Conference, All-County, All-Region, All-State, Regional All-American and High School All-American. She was also named Pennsylvania High School Player of the Year. Karen Burke (born 14 July 1971) is an English footballer. She most recently played for Blackburn Rovers Ladies. Burke was born in Liverpool and represented England at full international level. Michelle Barr (born 19 October 1978) is a Scottish football coach and former player who is the head coach of Old Dominion Monarchs college soccer team. She formerly played in the Scottish Women's Premier League for both Celtic and Rangers. She has previously played professionally in the Icelandic Úrvalsdeild and has been capped for the Scotland women's national team on 87 occasions. Vermont Voltage was an American soccer team based in St. Albans, Vermont, United States. Founded in 1997, the team played in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference, having spent the 2009 season on hiatus. The Voltage folded after the 2014 season. The team played its home games at the Collins-Perley Sports Complex. The team's colors were yellow, blue and black.
