Vera Baeva
Vera Baeva (; 18 March 1930 − 16 June 2017) was a Bulgarian writer and composer. She was born in Burgas and studied at the Sofia State Academy of Music with Dimiter Nenov, Marin Goleminov and Lyubomir Pipkov. Vera Lukianovna Belik (, ; 12 June 1921 – 25 August 1944) was a flight navigator and lieutenant in the 46th Taman Guards Night Bomber Aviation Regiment who frequently flew with pilot Tatyana Makarova. She died when her Po-2 was shot down by a German fighter after completing a bombing mission; she was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union on 23 February 1945. Early life Belik was born in Ohrimovka () on 12 June 1921 to a Ukrainian family and was the oldest of six children; her father was a master electrician. Věra Bílá
Věra Bílá (22 May 1954 – 12 March 2019) was a Czech vocalist and musician of Romani ethnicity. She initially gained acclaim performing Romani folk and pop songs and was the lead singer of the Czech recording act ''Kale'' with whom she performed songs in Romani, Czech, and Slovak. She was highly acclaimed, toured internationally and was often called the "Ella Fitzgerald of Gypsy music" or the "Queen of Romany" Biography Bílá, a Rokycany native, was the daughter of singer Karol Giňa. Vera Alida Bergkamp (; ; born 1 June 1971) is a retired Dutch politician. A member of the Democrats 66 (D66) party, she served as Speaker of the House of Representatives from 7 April 2021 to 5 December 2023. Vera Berdich (1915 – October 12, 2003) was an American printmaker. Life Berdich worked for the Works Progress Administration at Hull House. She graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a B.A. in 1946 and taught etching there from 1947 to 1979. She was an influence on the Chicago Imagists group. Vera Begić (born 17 March 1982) is a Croatian athlete specialized in discus throwing discipline. Since Vera's mother Jadranka Antunović also was a successful athlete and member of the national team in Yugoslavia (long jump, pentathlon), Vera has been connected to athletics from the early childhood. At the age of 12 she decided to take the discus throwing for her preferred athletic discipline, and soon achieved very good results in the junior level of competition. Vera broke the Croatian record for 21 times, ten of these in senior category, and she was champion of Croatia for twelve continuous years. Her personal best result of 61.52 m was achieved in May 2009 (Bar, Montenegro). With former partner Yuri Larionov, she is the 2012–13 Grand Prix Final silver medalist, a three-time European medalist (silver in 2012; bronze in 2011 and 2014), the 2007 World Junior silver medalist, and the 2012 Russian national champion. Vera Barclay
Vera Charlesworth Barclay (10 November 1893 – 19 September 1989) was an English scouting pioneer and writer. She was an early exponent of female leadership in the Scout movement and played a leading role in the introduction of the Wolf Cub programme for younger boys, both in the United Kingdom and in France.
