Venancio Concepción y Ochoa (May 18, 1861 – December 13, 1950) was a Filipinos, Filipino general under the leadership of President Emilio Aguinaldo. He fought battles in Iloilo. Fernando Venâncio (13 November 1944 – 30 May 2025) was a Portuguese-born writer, intellectual, literary critic, linguist, and academic. He held Dutch nationality. Biography Fernando Venâncio was born in Mértola and spent his childhood in Lisbon and completed his secondary school in the northern Portuguese city of Braga. He studied Philosophy in Vila Nova de Ourém and Theology in Lisbon. In 1970 he moved to the Netherlands, where he eventually completed his studies in linguistics at the University of Amsterdam in 1976. Two years later, he began lecturing at the department of Portuguese studies in the University of Nijmegen. From 1984 to 1988 he taught at the University of Utrecht, eventually returning to the University of Amsterdam to teach Portuguese language and culture. Venâncio António Bila Mondlane (born 17 January 1974) is a Mozambican politician and engineer. In the 2024 presidential election, Mondlane ran for President of Mozambique as supported by PODEMOS party. Prior to his presidential run, he had served as a member of the Municipal Council of Maputo from 2014 to 2015, where he also served as the head of the Democratic Movement of Mozambique's (MDM) bench in Maputo's municipal council from 2014 to 2015.
