Vello Lõugas
Vello Lõugas (6 April 1937 Suure-Jaani – 21 May 1998 Tallinn) was an Estonian archaeologist.Eesti entsüklopeedia 14: Eesti elulood. Eesti Entsüklopeediakirjastus, 2000. Page 266 In 1961 he graduated from University of Tartu, Tartu State University. In 1987 he was one of the founders of Estonian Heritage Society. Since 1995 he was the chief editor of the journal ''Austrvegr''. His main fields of research were burial mounds () and forthills. Suure-Jaani () is a Populated places in Estonia, town in the northern part of the county of Viljandi County, Viljandimaa in Põhja-Sakala Parish, Põhja-Sakala rural municipality, 25 kilometres north of the town of Viljandi. Until 2017, Suure-Jaani was the administrative centre of Suure-Jaani Parish, Suure-Jaani rural municipality. Burial, also known as interment or inhumation, is a method of final disposition whereby a dead body is placed into the ground, sometimes with objects. This is usually accomplished by excavating a pit or trench, placing the deceased and objects in it, and covering it over. A funeral is a ceremony that accompanies the final disposition. Forthill
Forthill Cricket Ground is a cricket ground in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Scotland. It is the home of Forfarshire Cricket Club and hosts matches for the Scotland national cricket team. It has been used for cricket since 1880, when the newly-formed Forfarshire played their first match against Glenalmond College there. Scotland first used the ground in 1913 when they played Northamptonshire. The ground staged six first-class matches between 1924 and 1999. The first was in 1924 when Scotland played Ireland. The touring Indians played Scotland in a first-class match there in 1932. Almost twenty years elapsed before first-class cricket returned to Forthill, with Scotland playing Worcestershire in 1951.
