SR-1 Vektor
The SR-1 Vektor also known as the Gyurza (''Гюрза'', Russian for " blunt-nosed viper") or Serdyukov SPS is a semi-automatic pistol. Design The operating system is based on the Beretta 92, utilizing a dropping block. The frame is polymer and steel. While the SR-1 does not have a traditional manual safety, it is equipped with a grip safety that disengages the trigger mechanism, as well as a trigger safety to prevent fire when the trigger is not depressed. Additionally the hammer must also be placed into half-cock to engage the sear and enable double action firing. The SR-1 pistol is chambered in 9×21mm Gyurza, a specialised cartridge also used by the SR-2 Veresk submachine gun designed for the Russian military. Variants SR-1M The SR-1M variant redesigns and modernizes the handguns frame, adds a lanyard loop behind the magazine, and enlarges the grip safety device for easier usage. SR-1MP The SR-1MP variant is a further modernization kit of the SR-1M which adds two ad ...

Vektor CP1
The Vektor СР1 is a semi-automatic pistol that was made in South Africa by Lyttleton Engineering Works (LIW) which was a division of Denel SOC, now Denel Land Systems, from 1996 to 2001. Design The CP1 pistol was intended as a concealed carry in the United States, concealed carry weapon for law enforcement and civilian use. It has an unusual, streamlined design with a polymer frame and an even more unusual safety, located at the front of the trigger-guard. In several reviews it was characterized as being a radically designed gun that looks like something straight out of a science fiction movie. These reviews stated that it has no sharp edges, and is about as "snag-proof" as any combat gun can ever be, and because of its design it is a surprisingly comfortable gun to shoot, which makes it feel very ergonomic. The pistol originally sold in the United States for a retail price of approximately $400. In Italy the pistol was chambered for the 9×21mm IMI cartridge. The CP1 use ...

Vektor CR-21
The Vektor CR-21 is a South African bullpup assault rifle ("CR-21" being an abbreviation of Combat Rifle 21st Century) chambered for 5.56×45mm NATO ammunition. It was designed by Denel Land Systems as a possible replacement for the South African National Defence Force's Vektor R4, though Denel Land Systems has since shifted focus to offering an upgraded R4 rifle to the SANDF instead. 200 CR-21s were made in total with parts that can be used for another 200 CR-21s. Design First unveiled in 1997, the CR-21 has a sleek, futuristic design and uses the bullpup layout. This enables the rifle to be as short as a typical carbine, whilst still retaining the muzzle velocity of longer assault rifles. However, this makes the CR-21 only capable of being fired from the right hand as the ejection port is located on the back right side of the rifle. The port cannot be changed from side to side. Internally, the CR-21 uses a slightly modified version of the Kalashnikov action found in the R4 ass ...

Vektor SP1
The Vektor SP1 was South African pistol produced since 1992 by Denel Land Systems (DLS), formerly Lyttelton Engineering Works (LIW). Design The Vektor SP1 was the improved version of the Vektor Z88 pistol, the South African Beretta 92F copy. Thus, the SP1 is based on the Italian Beretta design. SP stands for “Service Pistol” and both weapons are full-sized, holster type pistols of solid construction. The Vektor SP1 was a short-recoil operated, locked-breech pistol. It used a Walther-type tilting locking piece, located below the straight-recoiling barrel, to lock it to the slide. The frame is made from aluminium alloy, other parts are steel. The trigger is double-action, with an exposed hammer and a frame-mounted, ambidextrous safety that allows for "cocked and locked" carry. The sights are fixed; the front sight is pinned to the slide, the rear is dovetailed. The magazines are double stack; the magazine release button is located at the base of trigger-guard. Vari ...
