( rus, Ведомости, p=ˈvʲedəməsʲtʲɪ, ) is a Russian-language business daily newspaper published in Moscow. History was founded in 1999 as a joint venture between Dow Jones, who publishes ''The Wall Street Journal''; Pearson, who previously published the ''Financial Times''; and Independent Media, who publishes ''The Moscow Times''. Independent Media was acquired by Finnish media company Sanoma in 2005. Leonid Bereshidsky was the first chief editor, till he entered INSEAD business school in 2002 and was replaced by Tatiana Lysova. From 2007 till 2010, Yelizaveta Osetinskaya served as chief editor. In 2010, she became chief editor of the online version of the newspaper. She was replaced by former chief editor Tatiana Lysova. Rosneft specializes in the exploration, extraction, production, refining, transport, and sale of petroleum, natural gas, and petroleum products. Yelizaveta Nikolayevna Osetinskaya ( rus, Елизавета Николаевна Осетинская, p=jɪlʲɪzɐˈvʲetə nʲɪkɐˈlajɪvnə ɐsʲɪˈtʲɪnskəjə; born 3 May 1977, Moscow) is a Russian journalist and media manager. She is notable as a former editor-in-chief of the Russian edition of ''Forbes'' (2011–2013) and RBC (2014–2016). Her reforms at RBC helped make it one of the most-cited Russian media holdings. Under her editorship, RBC emphasized investigative journalism, with highlights including the participation of Russian troops in the War in Donbass and the business connections of president Vladimir Putin's family. Igor Ivanovich Sechin (; born 7 September 1960) is a Russian entrepreneur and a government official, considered a close ally and "de facto deputy" of Vladimir Putin. Sechin has been a confidant of Russian leader Vladimir Putin since the early 1990s. Sechin was chief of staff to Putin when he was the deputy mayor of St. Petersburg in 1994. Derk Sauer is a Dutch media magnate and the founder of ''The Moscow Times''. Biography Sauer, a native of Amsterdam, has considered himself a Maoist in the past, having participated in Dutch left wing politics since his youth. He claims that the ' Red May' student protests of Paris in 1968, which happened while he was 15 years old, informed much of his political beliefs. He later rejected communist ideology and has described Mao as a "monster". He is a member of the Socialist Party of the Netherlands.
