Vector (comics)
The U-Foes is a supervillain team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually as enemies of the Hulk. The group consists of four members: Vector, the group's leader, who can repel matter telekinetically; Vapor, who can transform into any form of gaseous matter; X-Ray, who can generate and project radiation and fly; and Ironclad, who has a metallic body and can control his density. Publication history The U-Foes first appeared in ''The Incredible Hulk'' (vol. 2) #254 (Dec. 1980) and were created by Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema. Per ''The Incredible Hulk'' (vol. 2) #254's credits, editor Al Milgrom designed the costumes of the U-Foes, while editor-in-chief Jim Shooter helped with the names of the U-Foes. Bereet
Bereet is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Melia Kreiling portrayed the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film ''Guardians of the Galaxy'' (2014). Publication history Bereet first appeared in ''The Rampaging Hulk'' #1 (Jan. 1977), and was created by Doug Moench and Walt Simonson. She also appeared in ''The Rampaging Hulk'' #9 (June 1978). This version was subsequently revealed to be an alternate universe version. ''Marvel Graphic Novel'' (''MGN'') is a line of graphic novel trade paperbacks published from 1982 to 1993 by Marvel Comics. The books were published in an oversized format, 8.5" x 11", similar to French albums. In response, DC Comics established a competitor line known as '' DC Graphic Novel''. Publication history The decision to launch the line was made in late 1979, after strong sales reports for the summer. Marvel editor-in-chief Jim Shooter envisioned the "books as being in the format of European albums, with cardboard covers, full-color, slick pages". In September 1980, Shooter indicated the line was delayed because of complications in putting together the contracts, which he was drafting in consultation with Marvel attorneys. The Mole Man (Harvey Rupert Elder) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is depicted as a recurring foe of the Fantastic Four and was the first villain they ever faced. Pantheon is a fictional organization appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Peter David, the Pantheon first appeared in '' The Incredible Hulk'' vol. 2 #368 (April 1990), and was a large part of that book's supporting cast from issue #379 (March 1991) to issue #426 (February 1995). Fictional history Agamemnon, a half-human and half- Asgardian god, is born immortal. Although he never physically ages beyond the age of 16, the Pantheon are all his descendants. The Leader (Samuel Sterns) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The Leader first appeared in ''Tales to Astonish'' #62 (December 1964), created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko as the archenemy of the Hulk. He has mainly appeared in Hulk-related comic books over the years and was one of the featured characters in the Marvel NOW! Thunderbolts relaunch. Sterns worked as a janitor in Boise, Idaho when he was exposed to gamma radiation. This mutated him into a green-skinned, super-intelligent entity who named himself the Leader, embarking on a career of attempts at world domination.
