Vaughan Council
Vaughan City Council is the lower-tier municipal governing body for the city of Vaughan, Ontario. It is a part of the upper-tier Regional Municipality of York. Members of the council are elected in three categories: wards councillors, citywide councillors, and a mayor. The wards have remained consistent since the 2010 election. Council positions Mayor Local and regional councillor Also known as simply regional councillors, anyone filling this position not only serves the people's interest on the Vaughan City Council, they are also responsible for representing the city at the York Regional Council. The regional councillor who receives the most votes in an election is also made the deputy mayor, whose role is to represent the mayor in their absence. Steven Del Duca
Steven Alfonso Del Duca (born July 7, 1973) is a Canadian politician who has been serving as the Mayors of Vaughan, mayor of Vaughan since 2022. Del Duca previously served as the leader of the Ontario Liberal Party from 2020 to 2022 and was an Executive Council of Ontario, Ontario cabinet minister from 2014 to 2018, first as the Minister of Transportation (Ontario), minister of transportation and then as the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, minister of economic development. Concord is a suburban industrial district in the Vaughan, City of Vaughan in Regional Municipality of York, Ontario, York Region, located north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Peter Patterson (politician)
Peter Patterson (April 10, 1825 – July 24, 1904) was an Ontario businessman and political figure. He represented York West in Legislative Assembly of Ontario, Canada, from 1871 to 1883. He was born in Londonderry, New Hampshire in 1825 and came to Canada West in 1849. Patterson and his brothers, operating as Patterson Brothers, manufactured agricultural equipment in the Richmond Hill area. Mayor
In many countries, a mayor is the highest-ranking official in a Municipal corporation, municipal government such as that of a city or a town. The Superior Court of Justice (French: ''Cour supérieure de justice'') is a superior court in Ontario. Maurizio Bevilacqua (; born June 1, 1960) is a Canadian politician who served as the 4th mayor of Vaughan from 2010 to 2022. Michael Di Biase
Michael Di Biase (born 1947) is a Canadian politician who formerly part of the regional council of the city of Vaughan, Ontario as the deputy mayor and mayor. He was first elected to the city's council in 1986. Following the death of Mayor Lorna Jackson in 2002, Di Biase was appointed acting mayor by virtue of his position as senior regional councillor (a position he had held since 1988). Gila Deborah Gladstone-Martow ( Gladstone; born June 5, 1961) is a politician in Ontario, Canada. She has represented Ward 5 on Vaughan City Council since 2022.
