Vassilis Lymberis (; 1945 – 25 August 1972) was a Greek mass murderer who killed his wife, his two children, and his mother-in-law, by burning down his family home in January 1972. Lymberis was executed for the crime via firing squad, and was the last person to be executed by Greece prior to the abolition of capital punishment. Vasilis Logothetidis (Greek: Βασίλης Λογοθετίδης; 1897 – 22 February 1960) was a Greek comedian. He is considered one of the most significant modern Greek actors. Logothetidis was born as Vasilis Tavlaridis (Βασίλης Ταυλαρίδης) in 1897 in Myriophyton, a village in Eastern Thrace close to Istanbul. One year after graduating from high school, in 1916, he started to participate as an amateur actor in local shows. In 1918, he moved to Athens where, one year later, he joined the Marika Kotopouli theater company, with which he remained until 1946, with a brief pause in 1935. Vassilis Lipiridis (alternate spellings: Vasilis, Lypiridis) (; born January 1, 1967, in Edessa, Greece) is a retired Greek professional basketball player. At 2.02 m (6 ft 7 in) tall, he played at the power forward position. Professional career Lipridis started his basketball playing career with the youth clubs of Edessaikos. He spent one season with HAN Thessaloniki, during the 1984–85 season. Vassilis Krommidas (, born July 4, 1970, in Thessaloniki) is a triathlete and coach from Greece best known for competing at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. Krommidas is a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a degree in Physical Education and Sports Sciences. Vasilis Konstantinou (; born 19 November 1947) is a former Greek football goalkeeper whose career spanned three decades: the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. He also served as president of FC Panathinaikos from 2017 to 2019.
