Vasile Balan (born 7 February 1992) is a Romanian rugby union player. He plays as a prop for professional SuperLiga club Steaua București. Bârlad () is a city in Vaslui County, Romania. It lies on the banks of the river Bârlad (river), Bârlad, which waters the high plains of Western Moldavia.
