Vasil Khamutowski
Vasil Iosifavich Khamutowski (, , ''Vasily Iosifovich Khomutovsky''; born 30 August 1978) is a Belarusian football coach and former player who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Khamutowski started his career in 1994 with Smena Minsk, a club from the Belarusian third division. Since 1995, he has been regularly transferring from one club to another and subsequently played for Ataka-Aura Minsk in 1996, BATE Borisov in 1998, Smena-BATE Minsk in the same year, again BATE Borisov in 1999 and then again Smena-BATE Minsk, also in 1999. In 2000, he moved to Torpedo-MAZ Minsk before transferring abroad for the first time in the summer of the same year, to German side Waldhof Mannheim, who played in the 2. Bundesliga at the time. However, he spent the entire season with the German team as the second-choice keeper and only made two league appearances. FC Torpedo Minsk or PFK Tarpeda Minsk (; ) is a Belarusian football club, playing in Minsk. The team plays their home games at the Torpedo Stadium in Minsk, which holds 4,800 people. They currently play in Belarusian Second League. History During Soviet years, Torpedo was playing in the Belarusian SSR top league and won championships in 1947, 1962, 1966, 1967 and 1969. The team was playing in the Belarusian Premier League since 1992. Their most successful years were in the early 2000s, when the team finished in 4th position twice in a row (2002, 2003) and reached the final of the Belarusian Cup (2000). Minsk-2 is a Belarusian football club based in Minsk and is a reserve team of FC Minsk. History The team was formed in 1954 as FShM Minsk (''Futbolnaya Shkhola Molodyozhi'', or ''Football School of Youth'') and was essentially a student team. During Soviet years, they spent the most of their seasons playing only in youth competitions, although they also spent several seasons in senior Belarusian SSR league. They adopted name Smena Minsk in 1989. In 1992 Smena joined newly created Belarusian Second League. NFC Krumkachy Minsk (, ) is a Belarusian professional football club based in the capital city of Minsk. History The club was founded in 2011 by a group of football fans. The club was named after the Belarusian word for ravens. After competing in the Belarusian amateur leagues for a few seasons, they joined the Belarusian Second League, the third division of Belarusian football, in 2014. With the help of some experienced players, the team was able to finish 2nd in their debut season in the third tier and was promoted to the Belarusian First League for the 2015 season. The Belarus national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team of Belarus and is controlled by the Football Federation of Belarus. The team competed in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, held every two years. History The team qualified for the final round of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship three times.
