Vasant Purushottam Kale
Vasant Purushottam Kale, popularly known as Va Pu, was a Marathi writer. He wrote more than 60 books. His well-known works include ''Partner'', ''Vapurza'', ''Hi Waat Ekatichi'', and ''Thikri''. He was a famous story-teller and had over 1600 stage-shows in the theatres. He was the first writer to come in form of audio cassettes.He also played violin and harmonium. He was also fond of photography. He has also written so many story collection books which include "Sakhi" , "Taptapadi" , "One for the road" etc. which are praised by the readers for being relatable. Kale was an architect by profession. Wasudev Waman Patankar
Wasudev Waman Patankar (29 December 1908 – 20 June 1997), popularly known by the name Bhausaheb Patankar (Marathi: भाऊसाहेब पाटणकर), was a prominent Marathi shayar, and one of the first to pen Marathi shayari, until then Shayari was an outcome of Urdu language. W.W Patankar was an Advocate by profession. Life Bhausaheb was born as Wasudev Waman Patankar on 29 December 1908. Wasudev's father Waman Patankar was a school headmaster at Achalpur.(Maharashtra). Patankar studied Vedas, philosophy and other shastras as a shishya under Sitaramshastri Kurumbhatte.
