Varun Aaron
Varun Raymond Aaron (born 29 October 1989) is an Indian former cricketer from Jamshedpur. A right-arm fast bowler, he first played for Jharkhand U-19 followed by Jharkhand Ranji team. He played his first One Day International (ODI) for India in October 2011 and made his Test debut the following month. Domestic career Aaron is a product of the MRF Pace Foundation. He made his first-class debut playing for Jharkhand in the 2008–09 season of the Ranji Trophy, in a home fixture against Jammu and Kashmir. He claimed two wickets in each innings. Aaron took 13 wickets in the 2010–11 Ranji Trophy and bowled a delivery. The 2014 County Championship season, known as the LV= County Championship for sponsorship reasons, was the 115th cricket County Championship season. Ishant Sharma
Ishant Sharma (; born 2 September 1988) is an Indian cricketer who has represented India in Tests, ODIs and T20Is. He is a 6 ft 4 in tall right-arm fast-medium bowler. In 2011, he became the fifth youngest player to take 100 Test wickets. While often considered a "rhythm" bowler, prioritizing accuracy, he still is one of the fastest Indian bowlers having bowled in excess of 150 km/h on several occasions. 2010–11 Ranji Trophy
The 2010–11 Ranji Trophy season was the 77th Ranji trophy season. It was contested through two leagues: Super and Plate. Each division was divided into 2 groups – A and B, each team played all the other teams from its group only once, either home or away. The Super League is divided into two groups of eight and seven teams, while the Plate League is divided into two groups of six teams each. In both divisions, the top two teams from each group advance to the knock-out phase. The finalists from the Plate League are promoted to the Super League the next year while the two teams at the bottom of the Super League are relegated. According to the new Ranji format which was implemented from 2008 to 2009 season, the top two Plate teams join three teams each from the two groups in the Super League to play a knock-out from the quarter-final stage. Jammu And Kashmir Cricket Team
The Jammu and Kashmir cricket team is a cricket team based in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, run by JKCA. It is in the Elite Group C of the Ranji Trophy. Its main home ground is the Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar, and it also plays at Gandhi Memorial Science College Ground in Jammu. The Ranji Trophy is a premier domestic first-class cricket championship played in India and organized annually by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). MRF Pace Foundation
MRF Pace Foundation is a coaching clinic for training fast bowlers from all over the world. Based in Chennai, India, it was founded in 1987 by MRF Limited, with the help of former Australian pace spearhead Dennis Lillee. Through this program, young aspiring fast bowlers are trained in a facility located at the campus of Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School, Chetpet, Chennai. Seam bowling is a bowling (cricket), bowling technique in cricket, in which the ball is deliberately bowled to hit the ground on its Seam (sewing), seam, to cause a random deviation when it bounces.
