Varoš, Makole
Varoš (, ) is a settlement on the right bank of the Dravinja River in the Municipality of Makole in northeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Styria, Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Drava Statistical Region. Name Varoš was attested in historical records as ''Warissen'' in 1220–30 and ''Waressendorf'' in 1271. Locally, the village is also known as ''Varož'' and ''Varška vas''. The name comes from the Slovene common noun ''varoš'' 'town', which was borrowed from Hungarian language, Hungarian ''város'' 'town' (from Hungarian ''vár'' 'castle'). The Varoš Gate ( sr-cyr, Варош капија, Varoš kapija), literally ''city gate'', is a part of the city of Belgrade, the Capital city, capital of Serbia. It got its name from one of the original four historical gates, which allowed access to the city. It is located near the river Sava, Branko's Bridge and Pop-Lukina Street. Đavolja Varoš
Đavolja Varoš ( sr-cyr, Ђавоља варош, literal translation, lit. "Devil's Town") is a rock formation consisting of about 200 earth pyramids or "towers", located in southern Serbia on the Radan Mountain, in the municipality of Kuršumlija. There are several similar geological formations in the world, but Đavolja Varoš has the most numerous and the tallest "towers". Location Đavolja Varoš is located some southeast of Kuršumlija, on the southwestern slopes of the Radan mountain. Administratively, it is situated on the territory of Đake village. Geology The formations were scientifically examined and described in 1955 by Tomislav Rakićević. Đavolja Varoš features 202 exotic formations described as Hoodoo (geology), earth pyramids or "towers", as the locals refer to them. They are tall and wide at the base. These formations were created by strong erosion of the soil that was scene of intense volcanic activity millions of years ago.

Kotor Varoš ( sr-cyrl, Котор Варош) is a town and municipality in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nova Varoš ( sr-cyr, Нова Варош, ) is a town and municipality located in the Zlatibor District of southwestern Serbia. The municipality of Nova Varoš has a population of 13,507, while the town of Nova Varoš itself has a population of 7,542 inhabitants. History Nova Varoš was founded in the middle of the 16th century.
