Various (album)
Various is the debut EP by the Japanese visual kei band Dimlim, from the label Ultimate Illuminati (subsidiary of Tower Records). It was originally released on June 3, 2017, exclusively at the band's debut show in Ikebukuro Black Hole. For sale, it was released in two editions, regular and limited, on August 23, 2017. The promotional video for Shochou (初潮) aired the same day. DIMLIM was a Japanese visual kei rock band established in 2017, currently on the label DUM LABEL with the members Sho, Retsu and Hiroshi. Career Formation, VARIOUS and CHEDOARA (2017–2018) The band was formed in April 2017 by Ryuya, former member of DEVILOOF, Issei, former member of D.I.D, Sho, Retsu and Tsubasa. They released their debut EP, VARIOUS, on June 3, 2017, exclusively at their oneman first show in Ikebukuro Black Hole. For official sale, the EP was released on August 23, 2017, accompanied by the release of the video clip for Shoucho (初潮) on their official YouTube channel. Later, on November 9, Issei and Tsubasa left the band. According to Retsu, the band's name comes from "DIM", somber, and "LIM", gear. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Chedoara
Chedoara (stylized as CHEDOARA) is the second studio and first full length album by the Japanese band Dimlim, released on August 8, 2018. The promotional video for "Vanitas" was released on June 2, 2018 and the promotional video for "Aizou ni Tsuki" on August 1, 2018. Due to great demand and its two-month sell-out, the album was relaunched on December 23, 2018. Recording A demo version of the track "Malformation" was recorded in November 2017, but the band started working seriously on the album in March 2018. The last adjustments were made at the last minute according to an interview with Gekirock. Visual Kei
is a movement among Japanese musicians that is characterized by the use of varying levels of make-up, elaborate hair styles and flamboyant costumes, often, but not always, coupled with androgynous aesthetics, similar to Western glam rock. Some Western sources consider visual kei a music genre, with its sound usually related to glam rock, punk rock and heavy metal. However, visual kei acts play various genres, including those considered by some as unrelated to rock such as electronic, pop, etc. Other sources, including members of the movement themselves, state that it is not a music genre and that the freedom of expression, fashion, and participation in the related subculture is what exemplifies the use of the term. Children (composition)
"Children" is an instrumental composition by Italian composer Robert Miles. It was first released in Italy in January 1995 as part of the EP ''Soundtracks'' on Joe Vannelli's DBX label, but it did not chart. Vanelli brought the track to a nightclub in Miami where it was heard by Simon Berry of Platipus Records. Berry worked with Vannelli and James Barton (of Liverpool's Cream nightclub) to release the composition in November 1995 as the lead single from his debut album, '' Dreamland'' (1996). Roberto Concina (3 November 1969 – 9 May 2017), known professionally as Robert Miles, was an Italian record producer, composer, musician and DJ. His 1995 composition " Children" sold more than 5 million copies and topped the charts worldwide. Early life Robert Miles was born in Fleurier, Switzerland, to Italian parents. Miles became proficient at playing the piano during his youth in Friuli, Italy, in the small town of Fagagna, where his family moved when he was young, and had been in the music scene since 1984. He worked as a DJ in some Italian clubs and private radio networks, and in 1990 he used his savings to establish his own recording studio and a pirate radio station. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016.
