Vanessa Whitburn
Vanessa Victoria Whitburn OBE (born 1951) is a British radio producer, and a former editor of ''The Archers''. Early life She was born in Totnes in Devon, the daughter of Victor Whitburn and Eileen Wellington. She has a younger brother (born 1954). She failed her 11-plus and her parents sent her to a private convent school in Exeter (which closed in 1997). She graduated from the University of Hull with a BA degree in English and American Studies in 1974. Earlier career She joined the BBC after university in 1974 as a trainee sound technician. From 1976–77, she worked for BBC Television. From 1977, she worked as a producer in radio drama for the BBC, at their Radio Drama Unit, which produced the ''Afternoon Play''. From 1977 to 1980, she was assistant producer of ''The Archers'' while William Smethurst was in charge of the programme. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. ''Silver Street'' is a radio soap opera broadcast on the BBC Asian Network from 24 May 2004 to 26 March 2010. It was the first soap to be aimed at the British South Asian community, Broadcast history It was introduced in 2004 as part of the Sonia Deol show, which was replaced from 24 April 2006 by the Anita Rani show, and until 12 May 2006 each episode had an early evening repeat at 19.20–19.30 in the ''Drive'' Programme. Sean O'Connor (producer)
Sean O'Connor (born 11 February 1968 in Birkenhead, Cheshire, England) is a British producer, writer and director working in theatre, film, television and radio. He was the editor of the long-running BBC radio drama, ''The Archers'' from 2013 to 2016. He replaced Dominic Treadwell-Collins as the executive producer of '' EastEnders'' in June 2016. It was revealed in June 2017 that O'Connor had left ''EastEnders'' to focus on his career in feature films. Pelvic Fracture
A pelvic fracture is a break of the bony structure of the pelvis. This includes any break of the sacrum, hip bones (ischium, pubis, ilium), or tailbone. Symptoms include pain, particularly with movement. Complications may include internal bleeding, injury to the bladder, or vaginal trauma. Common causes include falls, motor vehicle collisions, a vehicle hitting a pedestrian, or a direct crush injury. In younger people significant trauma is typically required while in older people less significant trauma can result in a fracture. They are divided into two types: stable and unstable. Unstable fractures are further divided into anterior posterior compression, lateral compression, vertical shear, and combined mechanism fractures. Stratford-upon-Avon (), commonly known as just Stratford, is a market town and civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon district, in the county of Warwickshire, in the West Midlands region of England. Graham Seed
Graham Seed (born 12 July 1950, in London) is an English actor. Education Seed was educated at Charterhouse School, an independent boarding school in the market town of Godalming in Surrey, followed by RADA in London. Career Seed is best known for his role playing Nigel Pargetter in the BBC radio series ''The Archers'' from 1983 until January 2011, although actor Nigel Carrington briefly played the role when Seed took a break in the late 1980s.
