Vanessa Guerra (born September 14, 1989) is a Democratic politician from Michigan who represents the 95th District in the Michigan House of Representatives. Guerra attended Bridgeport-Spaulding Schools and the University of Michigan. Currently a law student at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Guerra is the minority vice chairwoman of the House Criminal Justice Committee. Michigan's 95th House Of Representatives District
Michigan's 95th State House District is a Michigan legislative district currently located in part of Gladwin County and all of Midland County. Previously, under the 2000 US Census, the 95th district was part of Saginaw County, and included the city of Saginaw, Buena Vista Township, Spaulding Township, and Bridgeport Township. As a result of decennial legislative redistricting, proceeding the findings of the 2010 US Census, the district boundaries will expand to include Carrollton Township, James Township, Kochville Township, and the city of Zilwaukee and Zilwaukee Township. The district will also retain its previous municipalities. The 95th state house district is currently represented by State Representative Amos O'Neal. Jewell Jones (born April 11, 1995) is an American politician from the state of Michigan. He served on the city council of Inkster, Michigan, and was elected to represent the 11th district of the Michigan House of Representatives as the youngest representative in state history. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Early life and education Jones's parents involved him in his church and in volunteering from a young age. He became a deacon in his family church. Jones graduated from John Glenn High School in Westland, Michigan, in 2013. The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law is the law school of the University of Detroit Mercy and is located in Downtown Detroit, Michigan across from the Renaissance Center. Founded in 1912, Detroit Mercy Law is a private Roman Catholic law school and has been ABA-accredited since 1933. The Michigan House of Representatives is the lower house of the Michigan Legislature. There are 110 members, each of whom is elected from constituencies having approximately 77,000 to 91,000 residents, based on population figures from the 2010 U.S. Census.
