Vanessa Beeley
Vanessa Beeley (born 1963/1964) is a British activist and blogger known for sharing conspiracy theories and disinformation about the Syrian civil war and about the Syrian volunteer organisation the White Helmets. Early life and career Beeley is the daughter of former British diplomat Harold Beeley. Initially, she worked as a consultant to a waste management company in the Middle East. Activism Beeley has travelled to Palestine where she lived through Israeli bombardments. In 2014, she started her blog titled ''The Wall Will Fall'' in which she supported the Palestinian cause. Since 2015, Beeley has focused her activism on the Syrian civil war. She first visited Syria in July 2016. That year, she met Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus as part of a US Peace Council delegation, describing it as her "proudest moment". False Flag
A false flag operation is an act committed with the intent of disguising the actual source of responsibility and pinning blame on another party. The term "false flag" originated in the 16th century as an expression meaning an intentional misrepresentation of someone's allegiance. The term was originally used to describe a ruse de guerre, ruse in naval warfare whereby a vessel flew the flag of a neutral or enemy country to hide its true identity. The tactic was initially used by piracy, pirates and privateers to deceive other ships into allowing them to move closer before attacking them. The Martha Gellhorn Prize for Journalism, named for the war correspondent, Martha Gellhorn, was established in 1999 by the Martha Gellhorn Trust. The Trust is a UK-registered charity. Paul Larudee (born April 25, 1946) is an Iranian-born American political activist involved in the pro-Palestinian movement. Based in the San Francisco Bay area, he is involved with the International Solidarity Movement and was a founder of the Free Gaza Movement and the Free Palestine Movement. During the Syrian civil war, he advocated in favor of Bashar al-Assad.
