Vanariona
Vanarion ( la, Vanarionensis, link=no) is a historic and titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church. The seat of the bishopric was a Roman town called Vanarion, founded in the Roman province of Mauretania Caesariensis, which has been tentatively identified with ruins at Ksar-Tyr in northern Algeria. At present the Catholic bishops are titular. Filipe Neri Ferrão
Dom Filipe Neri António Sebastião do Rosário Ferrão (born 20 January 1953) is an Indian prelate of the Catholic Church. He has served as Archbishop of Goa and Daman since 2004, and previously as an auxiliary bishop of the same archdiocese from 1993 to 2004. Ferrão was created a cardinal by Pope Francis in 2022. He is the sixth prelate of Goan origin to attain the rank, but the first to be concurrently Archbishop of Goa and Daman since an episcopal see was established there in 1557. Raymond James Vonesh
Raymond James Vonesh (January 25, 1916 – August 16, 1991) was an American Bishop of the Catholic Church. He served as an auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Joliet in Illinois from 1968–1991. Early life and education Born in Cicero, Illinois, Raymond Vonesh was educated at St. Leonard School, St. Philip High School in Chicago, Quigley Preparatory Seminary, and St. Mary of the Lake Seminary. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago by Archbishop Samuel Stritch on May 3, 1941. Priesthood After ordination, Vonesh served at Sacred Heart Church in Chicago until 1946 when he was assigned to Holy Name Cathedral. Prosper Balthazar Lyimo
Prosper Balthazar Lyimo (born 20 August 1964 in Kyou-Kilema, Tanzania) is a Tanzanian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Arusha. Biography Lyimo received the sacrament of priestly ordination for the Archbishopric of Arusha on 4 July 1997. Until 1999, he was an educator at the Knusenseminar in Arusha. From 2000 to 2004 and from 2007 to 2008 he was chancellor of the archbishopric of Arusha. In 2004 he went to Rome to study and earned his license in canon law at the Pontifical Urban University in 2007. After further studies from 2008 to 2011 at the Saint Paul University in Ottawa he became a Dr. jur. can. PhD. From 2011, he was once again chancellor and also an official of the Archdiocese of Arusha. Mauretania Caesariensis
Mauretania Caesariensis (Latin for " Caesarean Mauretania") was a Roman province located in what is now Algeria in the Maghreb. The full name refers to its capital Caesarea Mauretaniae (modern Cherchell). The province had been part of the Kingdom of Mauretania and named for the Mauri people who lived there. Formerly an independent kingdom, and later a client state of Rome, it was annexed into the Empire formally during the reign of Claudius and divided into two provinces about 42 AD. A third province, named Mauretania Sitifensis, was later split off from the eastern portion during the reign of Diocletian in 293 AD. Donatist
Donatism was a Christian sect leading to a schism in the Church, in the region of the Church of Carthage, from the fourth to the sixth centuries.
