John Van Den Broek
John van den Broek (1895 – 29 June 1918) was a Dutch born cinematographer. He is remembered primarily for his work on the films of Maurice Tourneur. Van den Broek died at 23 while filming the Tourneur directed film ''Woman'' in 1918. According to Tourneur's biographer Harry Waldman, Van den Broek was on a cliff in Maine filming some large waves when he got caught in a series of waves that carried him out to sea. Vandenbroek is a town in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,627 at the 2020 census. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 9.5 square miles (24.6 km2), all of it land. Demographics As of the census of 2020, there were 1,627 people, 592 households, and 467 families residing in the town. The population density was 171.26 people per square mile (55.0/km2). Sophie V. Vandebroek is a Belgian-born electrical engineer and business executive. She was the Chief Technology Officer of Xerox, and President of Xerox Innovation Group until December 2016. Roelof "Roel" van den Broek (born 20 December 1931) is a Dutch religious scholar. He was a professor of Religious History of the Hellenistic period at Utrecht University between 1979 and 1991. He subsequently was a professor of history of Christianity until his retirement in 1997. Career Van den Broek was born in Alphen aan den Rijn on 20 December 1931. He attended the gymnasium and later studied theology at Utrecht University. In 1972 he obtained his title of Doctor under Gilles Quispel, with a thesis titled: ''The myth of the Phoenix, according to classical and early Christian traditions''. He subsequently worked as scientific employee on the early history of Christianity. Marc Jozef Magareta van den Broek (born 1953 in Antwerp, Belgium) is a Belgian artist and sculptor. Life Marc van den Broek was born on February 2, 1953, in Mortsel-Antwerp.
