Marleen Sahupala (née van den Broek; born 1 July 1971), known professionally as Marlayne or Marlayne Sahupala, is a Dutch singer, television presenter and newsreader. She is known for representing the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 with the song " One Good Reason". Career Eurovision Song Contest Marlayne had mainly worked as a backing vocalist for singers such as René Froger when in 1999, her song " One Good Reason" was chosen from ten candidates to represent the Netherlands in the 44th Eurovision Song Contest held in Jerusalem. "One Good Reason" was the first Dutch entry to be sung in English since 1976, following the abolition of the national language rule for the 1999 contest. It received a total of 71 points, placing eighth out of 23 entries. Edsilia Rombley
Edsilia Francisca Rombley (; born 13 February 1978) is a Dutch singer and television presenter. She began her career in 1995, as a member of the Dutch girl group Dignity. Rombley began her solo career in 1996, after winning the Dutch talent show ''Soundmixshow'', later winning the '' European Soundmix Show'' as well the following year. In 1998, Rombley won and represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 with the song "", placing fourth. Linda Wagenmakers (born 30 November 1975, Arnhem) is a Dutch singer and voice actress. She started her career at 21 playing Kim in the Dutch version of the musical ''Miss Saigon''. She played in the RTL 4 drama series ''Westenwind'', for which she also recorded the song "Laat me vrij om te gaan". Wagenmakers voiced the Dutch version of Mulan in the Disney animation movie.
