Valle F.C. is a Honduran association football, football club based in Nacaome, Valle, Nacaome, Honduras. They play their home games at the Estadio José Elias Nazar. Nacaome, Valle
Nacaome, with a population of 21,310 (2023 calculation), is the capital city of the Valle department of Honduras and the municipal seat of Nacaome Municipality. It is a manufacturing and commercial center located on the banks of the Nacaome River. Nacaome is an old city founded when aboriginal Cholulas and Chaparrastiques, tired of fighting each other, thought it best to join together to build new houses in the middle of their territory on the west side of the Chapulapa River (the aboriginal name of the Nacaome River). They named the new tow''Naca-Ome'' meaning "union of two races" in their dialects. In Nahuatl ''Naca'' means race or body and ''Ome'' means two. This foundation happened before the Spanish conquerors came. Nacaome was affected by Hurricane Stan in October 2005. Liga Mayor de Honduras (Honduran Major League) is the third division of association football, football in Honduras. It is composed of around 200 clubs divided into three different phases. The first phase is composed of local leagues based on municipalities; each league divided in a strategic way considering geography. Champions and runner-ups qualify into separate Departments of Honduras, departmental leagues in a two-headder knock-out format with qualification to the regional tournament at play. The regional tournaments are a final two-headder tournament composed of the departmental league's champions and runner-ups.
