Valis II
is a 1989 Action game, action-Platform game, platform video game originally developed by Telenet Japan, Laser Soft, published by Telenet Japan and NEC for the TurboGrafx-16#TurboGrafx-CD/CD-ROM², PC Engine CD-ROM²/TurboGrafx-CD. A home computer version was released for PC-8800 series, PC-8801, MSX, MSX2, PC-9800 series, PC-9801 and X68000. A super deformed-style Video game remake, remake was also released in 1992 for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It is the second entry in the Valis (video game series), eponymous series. It stars Yuko Asou, a Japanese schoolgirl teenager chosen to become the Valis warrior by wielding the titular mystical sword, after defeating the demon lord Rogles. The dream world Vecanti fell under the rule of emperor Megas, whose hatred towards his brother Rogles and bloodthirsty tendencies seeks to wipe out traces of the former tyrant, including his supporters. Telenet Japan
was a Japanese Video game developer, video game and software developer founded in October 1983 by Kazuyuki Fukushima. The company had several video game divisions including: Wolf Team, Laser Soft, Renovation Game (Japanese publishing division), Renovation Products (North America publishing division), Riot, Commseed, and Telenet Jr. Telenet Japan's North American subsidiary, Renovation Products, was acquired by Sega of America in 1993. With debt of , the company ceased operating in late September 2007 and closed its doors on October 25. Sunsoft acquired Telenet's entire software library in December 2009, citing plans to remake or re-release (via Virtual Console) the old titles. ''Castlevania II: Simon's Quest'' is a 1987 action role-playing game developed and published by Konami. It was originally released in Japan in 1987 for the Famicom Disk System, and in North America in 1988 for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
