Valentin Purosalo
Valentin Purosalo (born 10 September 2005) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Veikkausliiga club Haka. Career Born in Turku, Purosalo grew up near Veritas Stadion, the home stadium of Inter Turku, and started playing football in Turun Nappulaliiga youth sector. He joined Inter Turku in 2018. He made his Veikkausliiga debut with Inter Turku first team on 8 July 2023, in a 2–2 away draw against Haka, scoring his first league goal in the match. On 19 November 2024, Purosalo joined Haka on a two-year deal with a one-year option. International career In October 2023, Purosalo was part of the Finland U19 squad in the 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification tournament, playing in three games against Romania, Czech Republic and San Marino. Kakkonen
Kakkonen or II divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. Until the end of 2023, ''Kakkonen'' was the third-highest level in Finland, but after the creation of new second-tier Ykkösliiga, Kakkonen also dropped down one level in the league pyramid. The new fourth-tier Kakkonen is divided to three groups, each consisting of 10 teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen ( Finnish for 'Number Two'; ).
